My Take
Harry Stebbings doesn't waste your time. The format is tight — 20-ish minutes (okay, sometimes longer now) — and Harry is genuinely one of the most direct interviewers in the space. He's not afraid to push back, ask about specific numbers, or call out vague answers. For someone studying economics who's curious about how capital actually flows, this is like having a seat at the VC table without the awkward networking.
The density is what keeps me coming back. In one episode you'll get a GP's mental model for fund construction, a take on market timing, and a candid assessment of where the best opportunities are. It's basically a crash course in how venture capital thinks — the incentives, the pattern matching, the ego. Even when I disagree with a guest's thesis, I learn something about how money thinks.
