The a16z Show
Hosted by a16z team
My Take
a16z basically invented the playbook for 'VC firm as media company,' and their podcast is where you hear the narratives 6-12 months before they hit mainstream. Whether it's AI agents, bio-computing, or the future of fintech — when a16z starts talking about something on the pod, capital follows. That makes it useful not just as education, but as a signal of where serious money is about to flow.
The institutional lens is what sets this apart. These aren't indie creators speculating — it's partners who've deployed billions breaking down why they think a technology matters. Yes, there's inherent bias because they're talking their book. But if you're aware of that, you learn twice: once from the content itself, and once from understanding how elite VCs construct and sell narratives. That second lesson might be more valuable.
